It's so nice that my previous employers are concerned about how my small business is doing during the financial crisis, although I'd prefer it if they didn't try to convince me to go back to my old job. There is a reason I left it and phone calls aren't about to change my mind.

I spent all of last week in the Maldives babysitting the daughter of a client.
That is what my life has come to, babysitting twenty-one year olds while on an all expenses paid trip to tropical islands. I have to say, private security is an excellent occupation sometimes. |

Work is rather boring at the moment. At least it's giving me time to work on a new security system that I've been designing.
It's not exactly pleasant to see some familiar faces using the online journals, as I rather wished I didn't have to deal with these people since I left my previous employment. |

Do people really get their knickers in this much of a twist over what some stupid berk writes in a gossip column? Christ, you people need to get some perspective. It's nice to know that Will and Ben can still get themselves into the papers, even if they are completely past it. I do hope the pair of them will leave the spandex at home when they come out of retirement, nobody needs to see that.
Work's nicely busy, I'm installing a new security system for a client tomorrow. She's one of these panicky rich old ladies that think everyone wearing a hoodie is out to steal her jewelery. |
